157,000 square foot production and office facility American Thermoplastic Company is a major manufacturer of loose leaf products. Their goal was to become more rapid and efficient in their customer's order fulfillment whether a major order or single copy. As a result, they desired a high-bay, predominantly single level production facility. The flow and assembly of materials across the production floor with its flexible machine configurations were carefully considered during the design process and areas for art production, film output, ink mixing and pre-production services were distributed within the production area to respond to the production process. American Thermoplastic Company's offices are designed as a completely open plan including executive areas. A large employee cafeteria/lunchroom and an accredited on-site day care center are among the amenities provided to all employees. |
